The Team-Type Questionnaire goes further than any other team questionnaire because it assesses how your team is set up to succeed. Unlike other questionnaires that use a single model of high performance, the Team-Type Questionnaire distinguishes two different models, both of which generate high functioning teams, and each one representing about 50% of teams in organisations.
But when you think of a team, which type of team is it? Understanding this makes a huge difference to developing and leading the team, and ultimately in making the team successful.

As you go through the 30 questions, have a specific team in mind and answer each question as accurately and as fairly as you can. Teams are typically between 3-12 people and if you are using the questionnaire to assess teams larger than this, be careful as it may be that you're thinking of multiple teams. If you want to assess several teams, use the questionnaire once for each team.
