The Team Dependency Diagnostic provides a unique and powerful insight into what design and dynamics help teams to be high functioning.
This version of the diagnostic is currently in the last stages of user-testing and as such it will soon be chargeable. Today, this diagnostic is free for you to use as we seek feedback on your experience in exchange for using this tool.
The Team Dependency Diagnostic goes further than any other instrument because it assesses how your team is set up to succeed. It is uniquely assessing how your team is set up against two phenomenological constructs of teams. Research indicates that around 50% of teams in organisations are of each type, but few people are aware of the difference. Yet organisations routinely believe in single models for team development, team recognition and team reward.
By completing this diagnostic you will gain a greater insight into what makes your team a team, how well it functions and what you can do to lead the team to create the value its stakeholders need it to make.
As you go through the 30 questions, have a specific team in mind and answer each question as accurately and as fairly as you can. Teams are typically between 3-12 people and if you are using this diagnostic to assess teams larger than this, be careful as it may be that you're thinking of multiple teams. If you want to assess several teams, use the diagnostic once for each team.
